Baltimore School for the Arts
The Baltimore School for the Arts is a Baltimore city high school that provides students in and around Baltimore with an excellent academic foundation and artistic training in one of four areas: dance, music, theater, or visual art. As part of their school day, music students have lessons on their primary instrument; participate in chorus, orchestra, or wind ensemble; take music theory and music history classes; and have many performance opportunities. Auditions are held every January for admission to the high school. Harpists should prepare a solo of their choice and be prepared to sight-read.
