Workshop:
Composing for the Harp

Jacqueline gives a workshop for members of the Baltimore Composers Forum about composing well for the harp. Throughout the presentation, Jacqueline will demonstrate on the harp as well as answer questions from the composers.

Community Concerts at Second

Trio Sirènes (Marcia McHugh, flute; Karin Brown, viola; Jacqueline Pollauf, harp) give the world premiere of The Seven Chakras by Brian Prechtl and perform Taiwanese Folk Songs by Chen-Yu Huang on a concert of mixed chamber music at Second Presbyterian Church (4200 St. Paul Street, Baltimore, MD).

Jacqueline performs new works for oboe and harp as part of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County's LIVEWIRE 15: Blazing Trails, New Music Festival. The performance will take place in the Linehan Concert Hall of the Performing Arts and Humanities Building.

Jacqueline joins the Emmanuel Choir and chamber orchestra under the direction of Christian Lane for a performance of Mass for the Endangered by Sarah Kirkland Snider and the world premiere of Mass by Graham Gordon Ramsay. The performance will take place at Emmanuel Episcopal Church (811 Cathedral Street, Baltimore, Maryland).

Solo Performance: 
Jane Austen's Birthday

Jacqueline gives a solo performance at the Owings Mills Library (10302 Grand Central Avenue, Owings Mills, Maryland) in celebration of Jane Austen's 250th birthday. Jacqueline will perform music by women composers, beginning with Austen's contemporaries. She'll also explore Austen's view of the harp and its role in the society of Regency England.​

Candlelight Choral Service

Jacqueline joins the choir at First and Franklin Church (210 W. Madison Street, Baltimore, MD) for their beloved holiday performance, the Candlelight Choral Concert. Part church service and part traditional concert, this beautiful and memorable event features the First and Franklin Choir and instrumentalists. Jacqueline A Ceremony of Carols by Benjamin Britten and A Christmas Garland by Conrad Susa with the choir, as well as solo music.

Hangin' with the Harp

Jacqueline perform Of the Father's Love Begotten and Christmas Time is Here Again from A Charlie Brown Christmas for "Hangin' with the Harp", an online monthly event organized by the Atlanta Harp Center and hosted by harpists Mary Jane D'Arville and Robbin Gordon-Cartier. Several other harpists will also be performing their own holiday favorites. The performance will take place through Zoom. Admission is free, but registration is required.

Jacqueline gives a solo performance for the Brookland Neighborhood Concert Series in Washington D. C. at Cool Coffee Company (3901 12th St NE, Washington D. C.), a relaxed and intimiate setting. Throughout the program, she'll perform both classical works and some well-known pieces and share thoughts about the music.

Baltimore Chamber Orchestra

Jacqueline performs Gustav Holst's The Planets, arranged by James Stephenson, with the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra. This performance, which is part of the BCO's English Masterworks program, will take place at Goucher College's Kraushaar Auditorium (1021 Dulaney Valley Rd, Towson, MD 21204).

Lunch Under the Pipes

Jacqueline gives a solo performance on the Lunch Under the Pipes Series at Westminster Hall (519 West Fayette Street, Baltimore, MD). She'll perform a mixture of classical music and lighter pieces, including works by Sophia Dussek, Claude Debussy, and George Gershwin.

Music in the Valley

Jacqueline and Dariusz Skoraczewski, principal cello of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, give a performance on the Music in the Valley chamber music series at St. John's Church, Western Run (3738 Butler Road, Reisterstown, Maryland). They'll feature works from their cello and harp album, Beau Soir.

Atlanta Harp Festival

Jacqueline presents a workshop on extended techniques at the harp as part of the Atlanta Harp Festival. She will explain and demonstrate a wide variety of extended techniques and participants will have the opportunity to experiment on their own harps. All participants will also receive a packet with the techniques notated and some explanatory notes.

The Atlanta Harp Festival will take place March 20-22 in Decatur, Georgia.

Baltimore Chamber Orchestra

Jacqueline joins the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra and the U.S. Naval Glee Club in their performance of Christopher Tin's The Drop That Contained The Sea, which will take place at Notre Dame of Maryland University's LeClerc Hall (4701 N Charles St, Baltimore, MD 21210). â€‹

Trio Sirènes performs Taiwanese Folksongs by Chen-Yu Huang on this program of chamber music celebrating Taiwanese culture. The performance will take place at  Robert E. Parilla Performing Arts Center at Montgomery College (51 Mannakee Street, Rockville, MD).

Baltimore Chamber Orchestra

Jacqueline joins the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra for their program, The Best of Baltimore!, which features works by Frank Zappa, Karina Ingram, Mason Bates, and Ludwig van Beethoven. The concert will take place at Meyerhoff Symphony Hall (1212 Cathedral St, Baltimore, MD 21201).
