Rutter is a prolific English composer of choral music and although I've played many pieces by him, I believe I have only performed the entire Magnificat once before. I'm looking forward to the performance on March 17.

Trio Sirènes Review

Trio Sirènes (Marcia McHugh, flute; Karin Brown, viola; Jacqueline Pollauf, harp) performed an "alluring program" at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County to open the season of their new Sunday afternoon chamber music series. Washington Classical Reviewer Charles T. Downey found that "Brown... shone in her low range" and "McHugh... produced a languorous, silvery tone" while "Pollauf... swooped and sighed elegantly".
